Freak Out Fest exists to celebrate queer & trans voices in punk music and its surrounding communities. The fest intends to share and amplify voices of queer/trans/+ people who exist at variously intersecting positions and identities and to celebrate the subjectivities and differences present within that range of experience. Freak Out Fest is a safer space for fighting assimilation of body and mind, working towards collective healing, and building collective power.

Freak Out Fest! 2015 is a three day affair from Friday, September 25th, through Sunday, September 27th, taking place at 3 venues in 2 boroughs.
