Opioid overdoses are scary, potentially deadly, but also preventable. 83% of NYC's overdoses in 2016 involved an opioid, fentanyl (a super potent opioid) is often mixed with heroin and other drugs (including cocaine) and there's been a rise in fentanyl-related opioid deaths in NYC in the last five years.
Come learn how to spot an opioid overdose, how to administer naloxone (a drug that immediately reverses an opioid overdose) and some other harm reduction tips.

Please note this workshop will begin promptly at 5:00pm. We suggest arriving at 4:45 to secure space. We will need to clear the space by 6:15pm in time for our evening show.
