Every month Silent Barn hosts a big Open House (OH!), Market and party to celebrate all of the neat things being made by everyone in our crew. This is a great opportunity to meet all of these members of the Silent Barn community and pick up some sick gear.
Featured Installation of Sarah Rothberg's ~~oCuLuS RiFt~~
Sarah is updating her previous 3D Silent Barn installation Memory/Place: Silent Barn with many of the physical changes our collective's space has undergone in the last year or so, as well as integrating a 3D model of the planned Silent Ceiling sound-treatment installation and a few secret surprises. Visitors will get to put on the headset and be immersed in the future of Silent Barn!
Sarah Rothberg is a Brooklyn artist, Research Fellow at the Interactive Telecommunications Program at the Tish School of the Arts at NYU, and founder of several "hard to explain collectives," including 'LECTRIC COLLECTIVE and SMOG / CORN.
