MORE INFO: -Working it for ANIMALS: Nikki Calonge, Mike Mikos, Michael De Angelis with Brighid Greene, Lucy Kaminsky, and Eva Peskin. Three amateur linguists are conducting a series of experiments exploring the outskirts of language. For tonight's experiment, they attempt to stake out the limits of language's ability to describe the complexities of human movement by hiring three professional dancers to each separately interpret a choreographer's verbal instructions for a solo dance performance. How similar or different will their solos be? (bearelephantibex.com)

-September by Royal Frog Ballet: An optimistic speculation on the future of nostalgia, collaboratively created by performance partners/Royal Frog Ballet artistic associates/real-life husband-and-wife Ewen Wright and Laurel Butler, SEPTEMBER is a series of vignettes about survival in the face of dissolution: how memory might transcend the perils of the digital age, how the authenticity of togetherness might be preserved, and how easy it is to forget to remember.
